bartending schools are a wast of time %26amp; money. start working at a small bar/restaurant as a barback, pick up pointers from the bartender there, assist in making drinks, then work less busy shifts on your own. keep a bartender's bible close by, and just keep on learning. i've been in the business for 25 years, and i have not ever seen a single bartending-school graduate get hired. you learn best by experience! good luck, my friend.Anyone ever used this bartending school?
Bartending schools are for schmucks. Go bar back at a reputable establishment for a year. You will learn all you need to know without having to pay some fly by night school for their know how. And while you bar back - you will earn money. Bartending is not all about being a mixologist and whipping bottles around like some Tom Cruise wannabe. Its about customer service, management, people skills and operational tempo. Believe me. Don't be fooled by these schools. All they want is your money. Get under the wing of a good bartender and establishment. Baptism by fire as they say.Anyone ever used this bartending school?
i went a bartending school left with mixology and manager degree all the drink i learned there i never used or were to easy to make (i.e. rum and coke) so i say waste of time
