I personally took a 4 day class that went over how to make all the basics and then some. It seems that's what most do, I know there's a required handling class so everyone has to have some knowledge.Do licensed bartenders go through bartending school ?
In the few places that issue bartender licences you need to take a course in the liquor laws.
