How much does the typical bartending school cost?

A cheap bartending school cost around $250 to $500 for a two week course. but most bar managers or owners don't care what kind of crappy bartending school you went to. they want bar-keepers with work experience. the best thing you can do is start slow, work at bar or club as a server or bar back, and then work your way up to bartending. thats if your looking for a job as a bartender. if you just want to waste money and want to learn how to mix drinks, just buy a book. How much does the typical bartending school cost?
The best value a bartending school has to offer is JOB PLACEMENT....as any reputable school will have relationships with the hiring bar managers around your city. Otherwise, it's true, you can teach yourself the drink recipes and Google for advice on how to give good service.

You can take this advise if you are willing to waste at least a year of your time to get experience and then become a bartender. I went to a bartending school in Dallas called the Premium Institute and it cost around $700, which is the best price I found after calling all the schools around here.

I am not exactly sure on the cost, but you can check out AIMS Academy. I have a friend that teaches bartending at the one in Dallas. There is no cost on the site, but there is contact information to find out.How much does the typical bartending school cost?
No need to waist money. Just get a job as a waiter, work your way to bar. The more experience the better when it comes to getting a job.
