Is Bartending School worth it?

I am a college student and I am thinking of going to bartending school so I can get a summer job and for weekends during the school year. Does having the school help you get a job?Is Bartending School worth it?

It can help, but at some places, a friend told me that most places make you start lower %26amp; work yourself up to a bartender. It depends if the school has a reliable job finding service. Some are better than others.
