Is it necessary to Mention bartending school, and certification classes etc.. on bartending resume?

schooling, special training, so on and so forth in bartending could be considered a personal accomplishment but since it isn't necessary for a bartending job should it be mentioned on resume as education? Is it necessary to Mention bartending school, and certification classes etc.. on bartending resume?
Of course you should. It will set you apart from those who haven't taken any classes or courses. Is it necessary to Mention bartending school, and certification classes etc.. on bartending resume?
List any and all related experience.
Yes! It could mean the difference between you getting the job or some joe with no experience at all.A word of advice though. Most bar owners are set in their ways and want you to do things their way so keep in mind that although you have training, do what the boss says.(at least when he is looking lol)Is it necessary to Mention bartending school, and certification classes etc.. on bartending resume?
This may be too lengthy of an answer for you, but... As a restaurant manager of a "family-dining" establishment and bar, I found that out of the 10 or so bartenders we hired over an 8 year period, the worst ones were those who had gone to a "Bartender's College". Granted, by going, you can learn a lot about mixology, fancy flipping, and lots of drinks you will probably never make. After being in "the biz" and still tending bar 10 years later, there is something that schooling will never teach you - and that's "How to be a Good Bartender" It is a skill that I believe you are born with, sorta like doctors (who can start to make a diagnosis in the first ten minutes), writers (who just KNOW how to put things into words), etc... I can honestly say that 90% of our jobs have nothing to do with what one learns at bartending school. It's something else. I know it sounds a bit "mystical" or whatever, but that's where I'm coming from.
Yes it should. It should be highlighted and stand out on your resume if you are applying for this particular job.Is it necessary to Mention bartending school, and certification classes etc.. on bartending resume?
They just want to know where you worked. They don't care if you got a degree in bartending.
