Is it possible to go to bartending school when you are 17, even though I can't serve liquor until I'm 18?

I live in Minnesota. Is it possible to go to bartending school when you are 17, even though I can't serve liquor until I'm 18?
N,o you can't.

You can serve at 18, but you have to be 21 to be a bartender.

There is a difference between just being a server who brings drinks to the table, and being a bartender who is responsible for alcohol regulations, etc.Is it possible to go to bartending school when you are 17, even though I can't serve liquor until I'm 18?
Well Breezy-J, may I first say that I am super happy that you have decided to use your Y!A account! First login in almost a year! Oh creepy..

Anyway, after an intense 5 minutes of googling, it seems to me that you have to be 18 years old to even sell alcohol, let alone learn how to concoct devilish beverages. Minnesota School of Bartending's website just says that you have to be 18 to bartend, so I think it's safe to assume that minors aren't allowed near the alcohol.

Oh...What are they going to blame now that they can't blame it on the alcohol :(

But wait don't Suzette and Connor work at a gas station? I wonder how they're able to work there, because I'm pretty sure they were selling tobacco and booze at an early age.Is it possible to go to bartending school when you are 17, even though I can't serve liquor until I'm 18?
When I went to bartending school, they said you had to be 18 to go to the school.

Doesnt matter where in the US you live. I live in California, its the same thing.

So no..Is it possible to go to bartending school when you are 17, even though I can't serve liquor until I'm 18?
Bartending schools are a waste of time. Making drinks with colored water.
