unless you want to be a "show tender", those schools are a rip off. You should just get a waitress job, and express to the manager that you are very interested in bar tending. why do you need to go to bartending school? I took a course online and it was so much better than going to a bartending school,and it cost me hardly anything. I didnt know anything about bartending. Bartending school is a waste of money thats what Ive heard. My friend said that it cost her 300.00 and it was all about how wine and beer is made and she never needed the diploma she got,not one job asked to see her diploma. I studied at home and the book I studied gave me all the information that I needed, the book I studied teaches you how to work in a real bar situation.
