I want to go to Bartending School?

Does anyone know how much it would cost for me to go to bartending school? I am eighteen, I live in Pennsylvania, and I want to become a chef and a bartender. So before I go and make any rash decisions, I want to check how much it would cost to go to bartending school because I am already paying a lot of money on culinary school at the Art Institute of Philadelphia.I want to go to Bartending School?
bar tending school is not a waste of money, and they do more than teach you how to make drinks. they teach you real life situations in what to expect in a bar environment. they teach intervention skills, if they are reputable, credit card machines, cash handling skills, how to spot a fake id, how to spot drunk people easier, conflict management, while not every state has requirements for a license, having a licensed bartender on staff will sometimes lower insurance costs for the Establishment, also it shows prospective employers that you actually have a head on your shoulders, and care about more than just kaming money. good luck with your decision, and it is you who decides if this would be a waste of time and money.I want to go to Bartending School?
Bartending schools are a waste of money and time. No establishment will hire you based on attending of these schools.

You are paying to learn to make drinks with colored water.

They do not teach you what it's really like behind the bar such as when that wedding party of 75 comes down to your bar because they didn't serve any booze at the reception. They have been to a 3 hour full on Catholic wedding and they are thirsty.

It's just you and one 'slow' cocktail waitress.

You probably don't have enough ice or glasses and didn't think you would need to switch to the plastic since it's a Sunday night.

You need to think fast, maybe call the boss to call someone in?

Consider getting a job in a place such as Chili's or Olive Garden starting from the bottom. Express your interest to the manager of bartending and cooking.
