Bartending school is a waste of money and they don't even guarantee you a job anywhere...you spend a lot of money to get nothing in return. Your best bet would be to start out somewhere as a waitress and show that you have an interest in bartending. Watch when the bartender pours your drinks and try to remember as much as you can. Not sure about the specifics in N LV, but where I'm from, bartending school is often looked at negatively/waste of money. Most bartenders come up through a restaurant or as a barback/bar assistant. Plus, even though bartending schools usually offer placement, they rarely get you into a bar/club setting.
