In California, the legal age to bartend is 21. I will be turning 21 in July. My question, though, is whether or not I will be able to go to bartending school before I turn 21.

you might be able to pull off the school before you turn 21, I 'm not sure, but at worst they will have another class starting the next week, either way you can't legally serve alcohol till you are 21.

Knowing California, (I live here too), there's most likely a law stating that you must be 21+ to attend bartending school.
