Which is the better bartending school-- American Bartenders School or Bartenders Academy of New York?

Both claims to be the number 1 bartending school in NY, so which one is really the best or maybe would give the better chances of actually getting a bartending job. The tuition fee doesn't matter. I just want to know as to which one will actually be more beneficial after taking their course.

Thanks in advance for all your answers.Which is the better bartending school-- American Bartenders School or Bartenders Academy of New York?
I went to the American Bartenders School and I thought the school was great. I found a job 2 weeks after I graduated. They are New York's oldest school. I visited all the schools and liked American the best. I suggest you do the sameWhich is the better bartending school-- American Bartenders School or Bartenders Academy of New York?
Neither will improve your chances of getting a job. Bartending school is a ripoff. If you want a bartending job, you simply need to have experience, which bartending "school" won't give you.

Either start as a busser or barback and work your way up or lie on your resume and know your sh!t.

EDIT: The funniest thing about C Club's post, besides being completely not how the industry works and implying that paying your dues is a bad thing, is that bartending schools make "hotshot bartenders". Bartending schools teach you how to memorize a few drinks. Wow. The bar school grads I've let stage have had no idea how to change a keg, no idea about proper glassware, no idea about different wine varieties or how to pair them, no knowledge of classic cocktail history, and pretty much no clue about anything. They stand behind the bar with the deer in the headlights look, just praying someone orders a bottled beer.Which is the better bartending school-- American Bartenders School or Bartenders Academy of New York?
The guys that say bartending schools are a rip off are the guys that bused tables for 2 years before becoming a bartender. I have seen it a million times. They are so jealous when we hire a hot shot bartender right out of bartending school. At all our locations we only hire bartending school grads. They already have all of the fundamental skills and all we have to do is teach them our culture and our procedures. We will hire them over experienced bartenders with bad habits or people with no experience at all.

As for the 2 schools listed above I can not comment about that. We own bars in Western Canada and have an agreement with Fine Art Bartending schools for our staffing needs.

Hope this helps!
